Santa Fe | Fall 2012 & 2013

In Fall 2012, and again in Fall 2013, TAHS went to Santa Fe, NM for our semesterly weekend trip! We visited a local farmer's market, some local art galleries, the New Mexico Museum of Art, and marveled at the Miraculous Staircase at the Loretto Chapel. We also shopped for Native American crafts and jewerly on the Square and had a lovely breakfast at the French Pastry Shop & Crêperie. Can't do all that in Lubbock!
San Antonio | Spring 2013

For Spring 2013, we voyaged to San Antonio for our semesterly weekend trip! We visited the unique McNay Art Museum, the San Antonio Museum of Art where we saw an impressive collection of ancient Greek artifacts and sculptures. And of course, a visit to San Antonio would not be complete without a trip to the Alamo and the Riverwalk!

For Spring 2014, TAHS members had a lot of fun visiting Austin! We went to the Capitol, saw some cool exhibits at the Blanton, and marveled at the Harry Ransom Center's collection, which includes the first photograph by Joseph Nicéphore Niépce (1826 or 27) and a Gutenberg Bible!
