JACQUELYN â€“ PRESIDENT

Hi there! I received my Bachelor's degree from UT Dallas in 2012, I majored in Arts and Performance with a focus in visual art, and minored in Art History. Currently, I am in the Art History Master's program and am minoring in Museum Science. I am interested in focusing on 19th century German art for my thesis. I enjoy playing with my white Labrador, country dancing, reading, painting, or of course visiting museums!

HAYLEY - VICE PRESIDENT

I'm Hayley and I am currently double majoring in English and Art History with a minor in Women's Studies. I am also in the Honors College here at Texas Tech as a student and FYE Mentor. I am from Keller, TX, although I was born near Seattle, WA. I am interested in fiction, art, and law.

JAMIE - TREASURER

My undergraduate training was in studio art and psychology from McMurry University in Abilene. After which I received a teaching certificate from Wayland Baptist University in Lubbock. I was a high school art teacher for seven years, and loved working with art and students in the classroom. Now I would like to expand my knowledge of art history and explore new ways in which art can be used in our daily lives. I am pursuing a graduate degree in Art History with a focus on the book as art. With this focus I hope to research the dissemination of knowledge through the use of symbols, illustrations, marginalia, and text as they appear in various book forms. Further, I would like to understand the mechanics and role of art in pictorial languages and how art can be used as a communication tool.

SARAH – PUBLIC LIASON

Hello! I am an Art History major and Honors College sophomore from Keller, TX. I am looking to specialize in Baroque or Renaissance art and minor in either Italian or English. I love doing volunteer work and I hope to become an art curator. In my free time, I enjoy creating art and singing in choir.
